About GA-866 Jujube:
Jujubes are small deciduous trees with shiny green leaves and small flowers. GA-866 produces crisp fresh fruit that turns rich and chewy when dried. Drought tolerant and well-suited for hot, dry climates, jujubes are often called “Chinese dates,” though they are not true dates.
Planting & Care:
Raised in a greenhouse, these trees should be gradually acclimated outdoors and protected during their first winter if in colder climates. Tissue culture propagation means any suckers will be true GA-866. We generally recommend keeping your starter plants indoors until spring, and protecting them from any intense summer heat until they have matured.
